MAP Strategies Group CEO 'Bowled' over by New Year events, safely 'Fiestas' in Glendale, Las Vegas

New Year networking, entertaining and plenty of pigskin took centerstage last week as MAP Strategies Group CEO Mi-Ai Parrish attended both the 2022 Playstation Fiesta Bowl at State Farm Stadium in Glendale and the Las Vegas Bowl featuring the Arizona State University Sun Devils.

Amid all the action, and safely vaccinated and masked, Parrish joined ASU mascot Sparky for photos in addition to Spirit, the Fiesta Bowl sun, along with (pictured at left) ASU Trustee Vada O. Manager, the new Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications Dean Battinto Batts, and his spouse Tamala McBath, the new CEO of Dress for Success Phoenix.

“I look forward to our marquee New Year season events like the Fiesta Bowl and Parade every year,” Parrish says. “It allows me to engage with friends, colleagues and customers and express my gratitude for their ongoing relationship, and to connect leaders from various industries in a fun, festive atmosphere.”

“And when the Sun Devils make any bowl game, count me in. Forks up!”

In addition to serving as the President and CEO of MAP Strategies Group, Ms. Parrish leads Arizona State University Media Enterprise and is the Professor for Media Innovation and Leadership at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications.

In-person audiences and viewing at home were thrilled by the pageantry and excitement of both the Playstation Fiesta Bowl (left) inside Glendale’s State Farm Stadium, which hosts Super Bowl LVII in February 2023, and the Las Vegas Bowl at Allegiant Stadium and ASU’s marching band and drill squad.
